Whether attending, presenting or hosting, social media can make conferences better!

It’s conference season! Don’t believe me? In the next month, I will attend MarketingProfs B2B Marketing Forum, TBEX (Travel Bloggers Exchange) and Episerver Ascend. During the same timeframe, I’m missing out on the Integrated Marketing+Technology Summit and Conductor C3 Conference (SEO).While I’m sorry I’ll miss the other conferences, I look forward to reading the social media posts to determine which conferences will be beneficial to attend next year.

Here are this week’s #SMChat questions:

Q1 What are your must-attend conferences? How do they use social media – just a hashtag or something more?

Q2 How can conferences use social media for promotion before the conference begins?

Q3 How can conferences encourage attendees to use social media during the conference?

Q4 How can you get the most out of Twitter posts & other social media shares during a conference? Storify?

Q5 What’s the best way to engage conference attendees after the conference is over?

Can’t join us on Wednesday or have a question you want answered before the chat? Please leave a comment below – we’d love to hear from you!
